A Wonderful Celebration!

We had a Wonderful Easter Sunday!  My day started at 6:30am when I woke up to get ready for Sunrise service.  The special thing about Sunrise service this year was that I was the one who was speaking this year!  I gave a sermon on Matthew 28 and it seemed to have gone well!  I got some great feedback!  

After Sunrise service I came home and the Easter bunny showed up to our house to visit Cady!  He left some items for her!

After she finished checking out her goodies we headed to 11am service not only to celebrate that our Lord has Risen but  also to celebrate the Baptism of my niece Emma! 

From church we headed to Grandpa F's to have lunch with Leif's side of the family! 

Then our final destination for the day was to my mom's for an Easter Egg hunt and dinner!

Overall we had a Wonderful Day!  It was Very busy but also Very worth it!  I hope everyone enjoyed their day and were able to worship and revel in the fact that our Lord has Risen! 

Emma, Cady and......Josh....

Since I have the most beautiful and sweet little niece in the world I have taken the opportunity to use her as a model for some of my headbands and bows for my business CadyMayDesigns. I took some pictures yesterday and just wanted to share them with you all because I am so proud at how they turned out and how beautiful she looks in them!  I also cant forget my gorgeous CadyBug either, however, she is in the midst of being a 2 year old so her model shots aren't quite what I was looking for but I still love them as much as Emmas!  Lol.  If you make it all the way to the bottom of this post (Its pretty pic-heavy!) I'm even adding a very special picture at the end.

After watching the girls model Josh felt a little let out....So, that is how this picture came to happen! 

Its been awhile...Update Time!

Many things have happened in the Hightree household since I last posted!

The biggest news is that we have added a niece into our family!  I am finally an Aunt and I am in love!!  This little girl will steal your heart the minute you see her!

Welcome Emma Paige!  She was born November 9th and feels like she has been in our lives forever! She has her Aunty Steph wrapped around her little finger already and she isn't even a week old!

Next I had my debut show for CadyMayDesigns on Friday.  I did well for being my first show!  And I got my name out so that's all that matters!!  I have to say that it is SUPER exhausting to put on a show though!  Now its time to rest a little!

And lastly we kicked off the Holiday season by attending our first Holiday parade!  We went with moms from our playgroup as well as some of my family members!  Even though we couldn't see well at times we still had a great time!  And now we are EXCITED for Christmas!!

After such a LONG week hubby let me take a 3 hour nap this afternoon!  It was SOOOOO nice!  I think this next week is going to involve A lot of rest and relaxation!

Im gonna be an Aunt!

My little Sister Christen is going to be a mommy!  She is currently in the hospital being monitored and they are going to induce her tomorrow if she doesnt go into labor before then.  I CAN NOT wait to be an aunt!!  I have been excited since the minute she told me!!

So, with this short Blog I just want to say: CONGRATULATIONS Josh and Christen!!  And even though you are taking your time to show us your already beautiful face, I Love you with all my heart Emma Paige!
