Wordless Wednesday: My baby turned into a China Doll!

I need your help...I'm torn....

First off, I want to start by asking anyone who has a negative comment about this post to please check your opinion at the door because I don't deserve to be bashed for this question. Everyone questions themselves one time or another. I posted this question on a open forum site for moms that I'm a part of and have gotten more comments about being selfish and not being a real Christian than I have gotten honest answers.  I just need your help, a sort of What Would YOU Do situation...

So, my church is having a Mom 2 Mom sale in May and I am the chairperson of the fundraiser.  For anyone that isn't familiar with Mom 2 Mom sales, the church would make money from renting out tables to sellers and then the sellers could sell their items and keep the profit, so its a win, win for everyone.  We currently have about 4 tables reserved but have about 18 more to fill!  Since we still have some time I haven't really been too worried about not having all of the tables rented yet but I don't want to have to wait until the last minute to find people or have to cancel because we didn't get enough people interested....

So, here is my dilemma: I just got an email today from a lady who makes and sells hair bows for little girls and she is interested in renting a table at our sale to sell her items, she doesn't have any clothing items or baby items, just the hair bows....well, as some of you might already know I ALSO make and sell hair bows and tutus and other items and have not only reserved a table for that stuff but also for some baby stuff that I am no longer going to be using.  

So, My question is, do I let her rent a table so that the church can make the $15 for the table or do I tell her no because we already have a hair bow vendor at the sale?  I'm torn, because I know it will be competition for my business but I also know that the church could use the money and so I don't want to turn a table renter down.  

So please tell me, What would you do?


*****OK, So, I just wanted to update everyone, I emailed her letting her know that we would be happy to have her at our sale but I also let her know that we do have another vendor who also sells hair bows, but it was not against the rules to have more than one vendor with the same items.  I haven't heard back from her but I will let her ultimately make the decision as to if she would still like a table.*****

14 Weeks...blah!

I'm 14 weeks 2 days today....

I'm uncomfortable already!

I'm sweating like crazy!

I still cant figure out what I want to eat...

My clothes don't fit me right!

I'm still sporadically vomiting....

I'm getting headaches.

My shoes are getting too tight.

My back is hurting....

And I'm as big as a house!  

This is gonna be a LLLLLOOOOOONNNNNNGGGGGG Summer!!  

Yet I cant really complain since this is what I wanted!  

So, with that, here is my 14 week picture....6 more weeks until I get an accurate confirmation as to the number really in there......

Getting over the hump....

I think Im finally getting over the hump of 1st trimester morning sickness!  We are 11 1/2 weeks now and in the home stretch to the 2nd trimester!  I have kinda been MIA lately because for awhile I was nauseous and sick and just plain tired!  But I seem to be getting some of my energy back and Im actually starting to crave and eat things!  So, because Im ready for bed and I cant really think of much to add to this post Im going to let you in on some of my new pregnancy cravings!

The only thing that bugs me is how long it takes to peel these suckers!

 

I NEVER drink water normally.  So the fact that this is basically all I want is phenomenal! 

  

If only I could find a place that just sold red ones! 

 

YUM!!!   2 or 3 sticks later I realize that I should probably share with others!

And so my pregnancy journey is getting better.  Hopefully it will be a smooth ride from here on out!

I need to get back in the game!!!

So, I need to get back in the game....the blogging game that is!  As I said in my last post Ive been a little preoccupied lately, but here I am, I'm gonna try and get back in the game!  It's been a while since Ive done an update so that's what I will use this post for. 

Here is an update of whats been going on at the Hightree's lately! 

Most of you know that we are expecting our 2nd child!  Here is our first ultrasound pic of our new little bean!  This was taken at 7 weeks 2 days and we are now 9 weeks 4 days....Almost done with the 1st trimester!!

 

Next we have been playing in the 'annoying' snow of wonderful Michigan!

  

But we have also enjoyed the water too! 

  

Ive also been busy making bows and tutus and Cady has been busy modeling for me!

  

There is my update in a nut shell!  We are all alive and well and I am thankful for my family everyday!  Now I just need to get over this hump of icky pregnancy morning sickness and overall exhaustion!

For Anyone that has noticed my lack of blogging.....I Am Still Alive!

Hey Everyone!
  I just wanted to let everyone know that I am still alive!  A combination of being busy, SUPER tired and sick all the time because of this pregnancy I havent been able to blog lately.....I may or may not be having some SERIOUS blog block too!  But dont tell anyone......

So, I hope to be back soon with a lot of exciting things to say....but for now, I am still alive and waiting for Spring!
