I am Steph! I am a 30-something mom and wife. I am Bi-Polar. I am an Autism mom. I work full time outside the home. I overcommit myself every single day. I sometimes wonder how my husband puts up with me on a day to day basis. I have 2 children, one neuro-typical and one not so neuro-typical. I am a hot mess. I am Steph.

24 Weeks!

(Taken from BabyCenter.com) Your baby's growing steadily, having gained about 4 ounces since last week. That puts him at just over a pound. Since he's almost a foot long (picture an ear of corn), he cuts a pretty lean figure at this point, but his body is filling out proportionally and he'll soon start to plump up. His brain is also growing quickly now, and his taste buds are continuing to develop. His lungs are developing "branches" of the respiratory "tree" as well as cells that produce surfactant, a substance that will help his air sacs inflate once he hits the outside world. His skin is still thin and translucent, but that will start to change soon.

Its hard to believe that something the size of an Ear of Corn can cause so much discomfort at night when Im trying to sleep!!  And also make me look as big as a house already!!  I am more exhausted then I have ever been!  With the combination of cooking a baby 24/7 and dealing with SEVERE terrible twos, Im ready for a nap!!  Yet, when I get to lay down to sleep my little acrobat starts performing!  4 more weeks and we are in the third trimester already!!  Time is flying!
