Its finally over and it was a Success!!

I've been working on organizing and chairing my church's first annual Mom 2 Mom Sale since January and I am proud to say that last weekend we had the sale and I am proud to say that it was a success!!  WOOT! WOOT!  I had a lot of things working against me when I started it so I was a little nervous at first but knew that I could do it and make it a great fundraiser for our church!  Since January I have struggled with the location of our church being a little small, members at the church not understanding the concept and openly stating that it was going to fail, little interest in renting tables until the last minute, living in a small community that is new to the Mom 2 Mom Sale concept and just general exhaustion from life!  We went from 2 tables to 8 tables to 10 tables to suddenly having 19 and running out of room!  It was wonderful!  So, I am so happy that we were able to get it together and we had a great turnout and people already asking when next years is!  I thought I would share some pictures that were snapped of my CadyMayDesigns area, Im soooo happy that things went well and not only did the church make money but the sellers did too! And secretly my mind just wants to stand up in front of my congregation and yell at the top of my lungs "I TOLD YOU THIS WOULD BE A GREAT SUCCESS!!!!"....but don't worry....I won't! :-)

Mom 2 Mom Sale and Bake Sale coming up in Three Rivers! Tables still available!

Just in case anyone who reads my blog is from the area and is interested! 

The Ninth Street United Methodist Church in Three Rivers is hosting for our first Mom 2 Mom and Bake sale!

Saturday May 22nd from 9:00 am-2:00 pm.

This sale will be held in our church basement at 700 9th Street.

Entry fee is $1.00 per person.

Come check out our items: clothes, toys, furniture in addition to maternity clothes and accessories and some vendors too!

We are still taking reservations for tables too!
Tables will be $15 each.
And we will also have a large item room which will cost $1 per item.
Everything that you make at the sale is 100% your profit.

A day full of playing outside!

So, We did go outside this morning like I had previously posted and we pretty much stayed outside the rest of the day!  We played so much that Cady is passed out right now! :-) I just thought I would share some pictures of the fun she had, it was nice enough outside that we were able to break out the Ladybug Sprinkler! Happy First Monday of May!

The sun is shining, its beautiful outside and we are in a good mood today!  I think we will go out and plant some flowers....If we don't plant flowers we will at least do some major playing in the back yard!  Maybe I'll blog about it when we get in....maybe I wont.....You'll just have to check back in to see! :-) Hope everyone else has a WONDERFUL first Monday of May! 


PS: We find out the sex of the baby on Wednesday and I'm SOOOOO excited!!

20 Weeks today!!!  YAY!  We have our 20 week ultrasound on Wednesday so HOPEFULLY my Wordless Wednesday post will be of the new baby!!!  Hope everyone had a great weekend!
